What Causes Anxiety While Suffering From Hyperthyroidism?
Hello My name is Yvonne I had hyperthyroid for many years I am 40 years old now and just last August/2013 had iodine pill (10 millicullies) that only destroyed partial of my thyroid in December/2013 I started feeling anxiety then was prescribed Xanax and Paxil I took myself off of it in March and now almost a year later of the iodine am feeling with lots of anxiety is it my thyroid?

Thanks for your query, In my opinion, you need to be evaluated for your thyroid problem, please get a repeat thyroid function test done, if there is any abnormality in the report then you need to consult an endocrinologist. If that is normal then you consult your psychiatrist again
