What Causes Anxiety?

For awhile now I've been noticing that when I stand for more than a few minutes, I start to become uneasy, my heart begins to race, and I feel sick to my stomach. These signs worsen significantly if I have my arms raised above my head. I am only able to stand with my arms raised no more than a minute before it becomes too much for my body to handle and I must sit down. I know this sounds a great deal like anxiety, but if that is indeed what it is, why is it brought on in these very strange ways..?

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for using healthcare magic

I think , you have underline anxiety disorder. There are number of reason for anxiety like underline depression, stress, thyroid dysfunction etc. Better to consult a psychiatrist and get yourself evaluated. In that case, you need antidepressant and low dose benzodiazepine that would help to control the anxiety symptoms. You can also try relaxation exercise and deep breathing exercise.

Thanks
