What Causes Appearance Of Seborrheic Keratosis On Scrotum?

My boyfriend has had a skin color growth on his scrotum ever since I can remember, we ve been together for 7 years. I asked him if he ever had it looked at, he said no. We started to have unprotected sex last year and I noticed something wrong. I went to my gyno and she said I have HPV and gave me some cream. I took a picture of his growth to show her and she said that he had a genital wart. My area has since cleared. He went to the dermatologist today to have it removed and they diagnosed him with sebhorrin keratosis. How is this possible? I am confused because his growth had clusters in it and was pink colored. Please help!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It can be seborrheic keratosis(it can occur in clusters and can occur in the scrotum as well).

Nothing much to worry as
it is a benign condition and
non-infectious.

Make sure to get his blood sugar tested,
and consult with a general surgeon as the only treatment available is excision of the cysts.

Hope you got your reply.
Take care
