What Causes Appearance Of Shadow On An Abdominal X-ray?

My husband has a endoscopy recently, this was performed after a shadow was found to be on an X-ray taken earlier. He has had a Urine sample sent initially which led to the X-ray and so on. No one is actually saying much to reassure us of the need for these tests. Could you suggest what they may be looking for please?

Welcome at HCM
I have gone through your query and being your physician i completely understand your health concerns.
Urinalysis followed by the X ray do points towards the kidney problem. But I cant be sure based upon the history. kindly upload the x ray so that it can be properly correlated.
Meanwhile stay calm .

Hope your query is adequately addressed if you still have any feel free to ask
