What Causes Appearance Of Small Triangular Patch Below The Adams Apple?

I have a small triangle patch of darkened skin just below my adams apple that has been there for over a month now and shows no signs of going away or getting bigger but it has gotten a little darker I am an 18 year old male. What could this be, what could have possibly caused it, and is there a treatment?
