What Causes Appetite Loss And Abdominal Pain?

Hello doctors, since 1 month I lost my appetite and having light stomach ache so last day I examined my bilirubin level and it is slightly more than normal (total 1.44 mg/dl. Direct 0.73 mg/dl. and indirect 0.71 mg/dl.) so what precautions should I take and how much time is required to get rid of it completely.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
You are having slightly high bilirubin. This is commonly seen with Hepatobilliary (liver and gall bladder) diseases.
So first of all get done ultrasound examination of abdomen to find out the cause for raised Bilirubin.
Plenty of glucose orally, high protein diet, avoidance of oily and fatty food etc should be tried.
Liver supportive drugs like Liv 52, livsafe, udiliv etc should be started.
Usual time for recovery is 10-15 days.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
