Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query appetite loss and bitter taste in mouth after taking Dicaris is due to side effect of the medicine and is commonly seen in patients taking this medication. Need not to worry as now when you have stopped taking this medication your appetite will resume back and taste of mouth will be altered to normal. Take a proper diet and drink plenty of water for maintaining hydration and faster clearing of the effect of medication. You should gargle with a peppermint containing mouthwash. Till then start suck on peppermint candy or place cardamom or clove in your mouth. If condition doesn't get better in a week then consult doctor for proper evaluation and to find out alternative course of medication.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
