What Causes Appetite Loss And Shivering While Suffering From Cold?

my 4 year old son has been home sick with what seems like a cold for the last 48 hours. typical fever, sore throat, aches. he has been resting and low on activity. reduced appetite. i just found him sitting up looking dazed, staring at the ceiling and shaking a bit. some of his words were incoherent. he has been sleeping for about 90 minutes. he is feverish.

It is quite common after a viral fever.

Consult a paediatrician and start on antibiotics.

As of now you can give him soft liquid based diet.
