What Causes Arms, Legs, Stomach And Back Itchy Spots With Rashes?

I have itchy red dots on my arms, legs, stomach and upper back. Several of the areas with this strange rash are showing as a single dot in each corner forming a square. I went to my doctor and he could not identify the cause and prescribed prednizone which is helping with the swelling but the color of the dots has not decreased. Any idea what could cause such an unusual shaped rash?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

The rash could be due to drug hypersensitivity or an insect bite hypersensitivity. These are the common causes and other causes could include a bacterial or viral infection.

I request you to consult your Dermatologist to arrive at a diagnosis and to initiate the treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards,
Dr. Siva Subramanian
