What Causes Articulation Difficulty In Elderly People?

My husband is 72 yrs old and has never been a wonderful communicator (adept with language) but lately I have noticed that he is struggling more with words….I seem to be always trying to figure out what he means…sort of translating his words. Tonight he called me by another name-my name is Jane he called me Joan. I think we should see a neurologist.

Hello,

I think you should visit a neurologyst and do an MRI too. I think this may be related to dementia.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka
