What Causes Atrophic Kidney?

I had a back Operation May 1, 2015, ever since then My left foot is swollen and I have had 3 urine infections. one on May 13, took Bactrim 10 days .. June 11, Ciprofloxacin 500mg 10 days, July 23, Started Ciprofloxacin 500mg 10 day. I m up 4 or 5 time a night Urinating . What could be causing this. I did an ultra Sound of my kidney a week ago and found that I had a Atrophic kidney. I have been seen by both urologist and Nephrologists and have got no answers. I m really worry about my only kidney. I m in Florida and can you give me some advise as what I should do.. Thank you.

Atrophic kidney may be congenital problem and probably not related to your back pain or antibiotic use.
