I have suffered from migraine with aura since i was 12, im now 33. I normally get a cluster of migraines once a month. Normalky lasts over 3-4 days on and off. The clusters started when i was in my late 20s. Ive notice with the clusters the i get an aura on its own with no migraine during the 3-4 days of my clusters. Should i be concerned?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Aura is related to a migraine even if you don't have a headache. I recommend using the anti-inflammatory medication in case of aura such as Ibuprofen three times a day. If the symptoms continue I recommend visiting a neurologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
