welcome to hcm, I really appreciate your concern, Parkinson's disease (PD) is a clinical diagnosis and the diagnosis is straight-forward in more than 95% of cases. If a person has tremors of hands, predominantly affecting one side of body, associated with slowness of movements and rigidity of hands/legs. so the cramps which you are getting may be a part of tremors which is a regular feature in parkinsons. parkinsons is defeciency of dopamine and increase in acetylcholine. we need to examine you and treat with medications (levodopa). A good and definite improvement of symptoms with levodopa would be in your favour.
After that, a PET-CT brain may be done, if still there is doubt due to symptoms.
As of now, she should be managed with medications, and DBS is not needed at present. Please let me know if you have any questions, thanks.regards.
