What Causes Back Pain After Having A Robotic Surgery For Uterine Cancer?
Hello Doctor, I had a total hysterectomy in April of 2014 . I am a woman in my early 50 with no health problems , other than when I was diagnosed with uterine cancer . I had no lower back pain until I had the surgery, And I still have it so bad that I am getting SSI be cause I cant work. my question to you is does this type of operation cause back pain . I had Robotic surgery, what can I do?
Lower back pain can occur for a while, but gradually subsides. I have although met some women who complain of restricted mobility and pain at times (both lower back and site of surgery) even 5-6 years after surgery. I would speak to your doctor and ask him/her if pain management can be considered in case this pain lasts for longer.
Best wishes.
