What Causes Back Pain And Bruised Ribs After An Abdominal CT Scan?

My 83 yr old mother is complaining of back pain . She says it feels like her ribs are bruised . She fell on oct 12 and x rays did not show any fractures. She recently had a UA,labs and an abdominal CT again there weas nothing found. This started six days ago.

Hello,

It is due to d contusion sustained during fall. Nothing much to worry and it will settle by itself. As first-line management, you can take analgesics like tramadol for pain relief.
