What Causes Back Pain And Severe Itchiness On The Thighs During 33 Weeks Of Pregnancy?

Hi, When I was 33 weeks pregnant, I had severe itching in my inner thighs and it spread alk over my body. I had red rashes and irritation all over my body. My doctor said it was due to cholestasis (but my liver profile test was normal). Also I had sharp pain in left back hipline. My baby got aborted four days before my due date. It s been 7 months since delivery, my itching and back pain still not reduced. I get itching in my inner thighs still and it gets worse 15 days before and after my periods. Same for back ache as well. Consulted many doctors but no one gave me proper solution, remedy and cause for this problem. Please help me to get rid of it. Due to this, am afraid to get pregnant again.

I understand your concern.
- Itching inner thighs-
- If associated with vaginal discharge wit itching there, it's a sign of infection. This needs to be examined/investigated/ treated by a gynecologist.
- Simple sweating can cause it. Allergy6 to the fabric of undergarments/ cosmetics can be the cause.- needs avoidance of these things / doctor's advise for antiallergic agent/ointment. ( Betnovate C ointment can be tried)
- backache- in pregnancy it is caused by-
- gravitational changes bringing about postural chane in mother,
- calcium /vitamin D deficiency
- spinal/disc problem
These not been corrected after deliverymay continue to trouble. Please consult your doctor for physical examination/ needful investigations/specific treatment/ physiotherapy.
