Hi - I was wondering if you could help..... I am having pain in my back on the right side - around the kidnery area I believe, I get hot and cold sweats, feel nauseous every so often and generally don t feel good. I was int he ER 2 weeks ago due to a severe side effect I had to starting to take Tanzeum (my third shot/week) I had pancreatitis. what could it be?
* Considering the history of pancreatitits, there can be a possible issues with dehydration or electrolyte imbalance causing hydronephrosis of the kidney or else giving pain at kidney area with nausea.
Kindly get a clinical examination with basic lab tests and ultrasound of the abdomen & pelvis for further workup and best possible guidelines of management before the condition worsens or cause systemic damage.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
