What Causes Back Pain Around Spine While Moving Neck?

Yesterday, I was playing basketball and I think i strained my back. Now whenever i move my neck down my upper back around the spine starts to hurt a lot. It hurts when im in a certain position and such like when I get up from a chair. WHat should i do?
