General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Sorry to hear about your pain. Yes, it looks Likely to be sciatica. Pain in the back that goes to the leg and foot is likely a pinched nerve in the back. This is also called sciatica (if the sciatic nerve is compressed).

The associated burning also suggests a pinched nerve. We generally do an MRI of the back to confirm this. Treatment is physiotherapy, certain drugs, and few times surgeries to release the nerve.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Mahboob Ur Rahman , General & Family Physician
