What Causes Back Pain Upon Lying Down Post Treatment For Kidney Infection?

I had a severe kidney infection that lasted for weeks I got it cleared up but the back pain is getting worse. I only have the pain when I am laying down in my lower back; my mattress is newer and this pain started around the same time as the infection. It goes away when I get up and move around no back issues while at work. It hurts to take a deep breath after I have been laying for a bit. Any ideas
