General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, it can still be tuberculosis and if more evidence is sought it's better to get bronchoalveolar lavage and send it for cultures, microscopy as well as AFB monitoring. That will further help to decide whether to start antitubercular drugs or not.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
