Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am having back spasms, especially when seated or getting up from being seated, and I have also been having hard stools. They both seemed to start a little over a week ago. At first I thought my back pain was due to a strain, but I didn t know when that occurred, or if my straining during evacuation might have caused it. However, when lying down my back pain subsides.
You have lumbago that is inflamation of lumbar vertenrae. Constipation may be due to your changing food habits. There are many causes of constipation but as you have no other symptom nothing to worry. If i have to treat sucha patient i will advice for lumbago tab diclofenac ,peracetamol, Mr , rest and you can apply locally diclofenac gel. For constipation i will advice plenty of fluids, have plenty of fruits and raw vegetables normal diet.
