hi my name is Kristina I m 31 and I have spina bifida and over the last year I have had back pain severely and evry dr that I go to always prescribes depression medicine I am not depressed and I don t like depression medicine and they do not help my pain what can I do

Hi,

It is due to compression of the nerves by the abnormal spine.

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Aceclofenac or Tramadol for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult a neurologist and get evaluated.
