What Causes Bad Headache, Dizziness, Slurred Speech And Vomiting Post An Head Injury?

During a football game tonight, my son tackled another player and said his head hurt in the car on the way home-said he had a huge headache...is very tired and wants to go to bed. Is not showing the other signs associated with a concussion like dizziness, slurred speech, amnesia, vomiting, etc. Should I give him something for his headache?

Hello,

Headache after trauma should be investigated for fracture etc.
I suggest you to get an X-ray skull to rule out any evidence of fracture.
In the meanwhile you can take painkillers for pain relief.
