What Causes Bad Odor, Itching And Burning Around The Vagina?
I ve been having a bad odor, itching, and burning around my vagina for a couple years now. I could just take a shower and after a couple hours it would smell weird again. Not fishy fishy but another type of smell that s equivalent to a fishy smell. It s embarrassing because I ve been to a gyno a couple times for reasons like this and I ve only gotten antibiotics. Which helped I guess but I feel like they re making things worse instead of helping. I got tested once and it turned out is had BV and I got antibiotics. Now I think something s wrong again because I was using the bathroom this morning and I accidentally wiped the wrong way, and you can guess the outcome of that. So I m not sure if some actually got in my vagina but I know some got around the lips. I also wipe kind of hard sometimes and it scraped my vagina so could that be a reason why it burns when I pee?
Hello, the presence of fishy smell again and burning sensation in vagina is indicative of vaginitis secondary to possible bacterial vaginosis again or a streptococcal feacalis infection considering your wipe episode. You need to get a vaginal swab culture test done again to establish infection and seek treatment accordingly. Regards
