What Causes Bad Odour In The Vagina Despite Treating Bacterial Vaginitis?

I had a baby 5 months ago. My husband and I are trying for another currently. Every month I experience an foul odor to the point where it s almost disgusting to have intercourse. I have gone to the dr. 3 times, each time getting tested for everything and it has always come back as BV. A week ago I took my 3rd treatment for BV and now a week later the smells are back. What could this be, and will it affect our conception? Every doctor I have gone to brushes this matter under the rug when I feel there is more to it that they might be over looking.
