General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Bad odour in the vagina while on IUD could possibly due to presence of intra-uterine anaerobic bacterial infection.
Kindly get yourself examined by a Gynecologist and follow the treatment as would be advised to overcome the same.
In case it doesn't subside with medications, it would be advisable to go for its removal and switch to other modes of contraception that would suit you.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
