What Causes Bad Odour To Urine?

I am a very healthy man of 70 who is experiencing the smell of rotten eggs in my urine. I m not sick, and don t have any pain when I urinate. I did just change meds for high blood pressure, but the problems has been going on for at least a month...what is it?

Hello dear
Understand your concern.
Following are the cause of your problem:
Urinary tract infection
Dehydration
Urinary tract infections/stones
Cystitis
Some metabolic disorder
Food high in sulfur: like egg, cauliflower, onion and sea foods.
Prostatitis
Do not worry, for safer side do following tests:

Urine : routine, microscopic and culture
Abdominal USG
KFT, CBC, ESR.

Drink lots of fluids
Do not delay in empty the bladder
Take fruits like: orange, cranberry and pineapple,
Avoid high sulfur food

If associated with pain, burning urination and dysuria: Consult the urologist and take treatment of antibiotics.
