I have a bad smell in my nose, it has been there for about 3 months -I ve had a sore in the hook of my left nostrill for about the same amount of time , it never heals but does scab over every few days, there is also a salty, hard residue in the hook of my left nostrill - it is not particularly painful but is a little uncomfortable and the smell is driving me to distraction!
A bad smell in the nose may be due to Infection like sinusitis or tonsillitis or pharyngitis et cetera. Other symptoms are nasal polyps or common cold or deviated nasal septum or allergy.
Until the examination done, it is difficult to say what it is. Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling. Use tablet Alday-DC thrice a day for five days.
If symptoms not improved, please consult your ENT specialist, he/she will examine and treat you accordingly.
