What Causes Bad Taste In Mouth Along With Chemical Burns Below The Eyes?

I think I have a chemical leaking out of my skin. I can take a nasty taste in my mouth, if I lick my fingers or skin there s a nasty taste, my skin above & below my eyes have like chemical burns. I had blood work done mid January and my vitamin is very low, iron is very low, vitamin b is high and doctor says I m dehydrated...I don t know what kind of doctor to call.

Hi Dear ,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of bad taste in mouth along with chemical burns below the eyes which could be because of hormonal changes, stress and mainly because dry mouth and dry mouth can occur due to a number of conditions like salivary gland disorders, nerve damage supplying salivary glands, oral infections like thrush, allergic reaction to medications, hormonal imbalances like Hypothyroidism . I would suggest you to take multivitamin for this , do warm saline rinses and gargles. Drink plenty of water. Take diet rich in proteins. Your symptoms will resolve soon. Need not to panic about it. Keep chewing sugarless candies. Maintain oral hygiene with betadine gargles two times a day. Antacids can prevent feeling of dizziness. Take tablet acetaminophen. If condition doesn't get better then consult dentist as well as ENT specialist to rule out above causes .
