What Causes Bad Taste In Mouth While On Niftas For UTI?

my wife after microscopic urine examination got a report 12-16/hpf Leucocytes/Pus cells and 2-3 Epithelial cells , She has been prescribed Niftas (100) a tablet each in the morning and night. She feels very uncomfortable, gastic and bad tatste. And also feels sleepy.

As per your complain it seems that you wife is suffering from side effect of the antibiotic that she is taking that is Niftas and the symptoms of uncomfortable feeling, bad taste, digestive problems and dizziness/sleepiness seems to be due to it..
Nothing to worry as the symptoms are temporary and will subside once medicine intake is stopped..
As of now she can take empty stomach Pantoprazole or Omeprazole till she is on antibiotics..
Chew flavored sugar free chewing gum to mask bad taste..
Drink ample of water and sufficient rest..
