What Causes Bad Taste In The Mouth While Suffering From Strep Throat?

hi
i was diagnosed with psuedomonas in the sputum and strep in my throat
i was put on levaquin for 5 days but the infection came back within one week
i have a dr. apt with an I/D dr. on tomorrow
is there anything you recommend me asking
i really have this bad taste in my mouth and i believe it has infected my gums

Thanks for the query..

Bad taste in mouth can be due to infected gums and if there is a relapse of infection it can be a possible cause for bad taste in mouth..
Side effects of antibiotics can also be a cause for bad taste in mouth..
So first of all get ruled out for the exact cause of the bad taste in mouth and then only it can be resolved by appropriate treatment..
As of now to mask bad taste you can start chewing flavoured sugar free chewing gum..
You can gargle with flavoured antiseptic mouthwash..
You should limit intake of onions and garlic..
You should drink plenty of water..
Take more of Probiotics like Yogurt..
