What Causes Bags Under The Eyelids?

I woke up this morning and noticed that the bags under my left eye is black. I did not suffer any eye injury. I have cold and have been sick for the last two days.besides, I felt pain under my left eye four days ago,typically like a boil but it disappeared on its own.can you pl explain how to treat it.should I visit a doctor.it looks very bad.i also have a weeding to attend this week.

the bags below eye turn black means twas blood. no need of injury. it can be spontaneous. if you want can give some cold compression beyond it nothing to be done since it has subsided
