What Causes Behavioral Changes In A Child?

I was in church today and noticed some odd behaviors in a 3 year old. She was pulling her hair out, and scratching herself. She seemed to be very unsettled. I am concerned for her. Is there anything you can tell me about these behaviors? Concerned and caring.

Hello,

I appreciate your concern for the child but it is very difficult to advise based on such little information if the child is normal or experiencing some physical or mental health disorder. It could be just unhygienic practice that may make her scratch herself a lot while pulling her hair or it could be some mental disorder that is present since birth.

I would advise you to have attention of local charity organization towards her if she is missing parents or you can advise her parents/guardian to take her to a hospital for complete health check up and rule out any disorder.

I hope this answer helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Let me know if you have any follow up question.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
