Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
From time to time I get episodes of belching associated with skipped heart beats. It is a sensation in the chest /upper stomach. If I feel my pulse there is a definite pause in the regular heart rhythm followed by a burp. This can be pretty continuous for a couple of hours. It is not painful just very uncomfortable and makes me anxious. What causes this and is it serious?
