What Causes Belching And Tenderness In The Ribcage?

Hello, for the last week or 10 days I have been passing yellowish floating stool and have had severe bouts of belching after eating no matter the food. The discomfort is not associated with any pain bit the belching is excessive and deep. I have tenderness when I press just underneath of the center of my ribcage. My bowel movements have been pretty regular, once daily. My diet has been protein and fat heavy though. I have had a lot of stress at work and have problems sleeping for more than 4 or 5 hours per night for a long time now. I m moderately active, try to do several sessions of exercises daily and try to walk at least a few kilometres per day.

Hello,

You might be having gastritis or acid peptic disease. You need to follow some lifestyle tips-
1. Do not eat spicy food.
2. Take medications for gastritis.
3. Take little food at frequent intervals. Breakfast around 8 am, a small snack at 11 am, lunch at 1 pm, a small snack at 4 pm and dinner at 8 pm.
4. Drink plenty of water.
5. Do not smoke, take alcohol or tobacco and even excess of coffee and tea.
6. Do not take much of stress. Stress aggravates gastritis.
7. Do regular exercise. At least half an hour per day.
8. Learn meditation techniques.
9. Follow this regularly for 21 days.
