What Causes Benzos In Urine Of An Alcoholic When Having Hep-c, Cirrhosis?

plz help im trying to regain control of my life i m an alcholic for 30yrs im in recovery and doing what i need to to turn things around i take no illegal or non prescribed drugs i do have hep c and scirossis i take indicin wellbutrin linsinoprl and norvasc my problem is when i take a urine it some times comes up positive for benzos what can be thecause

Mostly, it is from benzo's (xanax, valium, klonopin, ativan) false positives can occur from Oxaprozin (Daypro), sertraline (Zoloft) and there are some false positives just from urine sticking/activating urine tests that are not very good. This is more likley in those with cirrhosis because the liver isn't cleaning out odd chemicals as well and these unpredictable and somewhat random chemicals have nowhere to go but the urine and produce unexpected results.
Not a lot can be done to prevent this BUT more accurate tests for drugs of abuse are done in hair testing.
