I am experiencing a bitter nasty taste in my mouth. I have been taking advil and Tylenol for 2 weeks daily, being careful to not take more than the limit. I have several teeth that have lost filings and am awaiting a call any time to have these extracted I am an insulin dependent diabetic with previous triple cardiac bypass and have not been aware of any fever. I take crestor, losartin, montelukast,1-81mg aspirin daily, synthroid 150mcg, metopralol 25mg 2 x daily, a multi vitamin , ventolin inhaler as needed as well as advair inhaled steroid for asthma. Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain bitter nasty taste in mouth along with a medical history of taking a lots of medicine and recent history of taking painkillers for decay in teeth can be due to causes like side effects of medicines, infection in teeth causing Pus discharge due to extensive infection etc..

I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation can help in ruling out the exact cause so that treatment of the cause can be done for relieving the symptoms..

You can chew sugar free chewing gum and also gargle with a flavored mouthwash to relieve the symptoms..
You should also drink plenty of water..
In case if the symptoms are due to any medicine then reduce the dose can relieve or change the medicines..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
