Hello,

I can understand your concern. As you are taking lots of medicines, it is possible that they are causing you heartburn and acid reflux.

Acid reflux is the disorder where the acid in the stomach is regurgitated in the food pipe and then into mouth. What you are tasting bitter is the acid.

I would advise you to start an antacid such as Ranitidine Hydrochloride 150 mg (Zinetac) twice a day. You can also use Digene syrup 10 ml after every meal and before bedtime. Try different spices to have better sense of taste.

As the course of medicines will be over, you will not suffer from this problem anymore. I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
