What Causes Black And Runny Bowel Movement?

My husband has had diarrhea for two days. He said it was green. But just now he messed on the floor on the way to the bathroom and it was black and runny. What could be wrong? He is taking antibiotics for sores on his legs, he is diabetic, has an ICD Fibulator, and kidney problems.

Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, such diarrhea could be antibiotic induced, because the antibiotic disturb the intestinal flora and that cause the diarrhea it is the self limiting condition, may not need any medicine once the course of drug over it comes in control, some time Lactobacillus spore can be used, if the symptoms persist then better to go for stool examination hope this information helps.
