What Causes Black Coloured Urine After Treating A UTI?

Hello, I am 23 years old. Today, I ve noticed two black spots in my urine. I have no idea what it might be. I ve only noticed it once. Seems like black ash pieces. what it might be? I had UTI twice past month. Took Cipro to cure it. Can it be the reaction to antibiotics?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Black spots may be small stones formed due to the precipitation of calcium carbonate/uric acid in urine. If it persists you should have a kidney stone workup. There is a possibility that you may have large stone in kidney.
Secondly it may be clotted blood passed during in urine. Third it may be due to UTI with epithelial cells.
Advice
1.     Drink 4 – 5 liters of uncontaminated water
2.     Syrup alkaline citrate 2 teaspoonful three times daily
3.     Investigations – routine examination of urine, culture & sensitivity of urine, X – ray KUB, IVP
4.     Drink fruit juice and cranberry juice
Thanks!!
