What Causes Black Discolouration Of The Testicles?

My husband is 69. His testicles are turning black, & he has galling in the creases of his groin. He is trying to keep the areas dry & is applying cornstarch. He is very concerned about the change in color of his testicles, not having any pain & no lumps are found. Does he need medical attention? The only info I could find is that it is hyper pigmentation Thank you.

Hi.
As per your case history of dark scrotal skin.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply an antifungal plus steroid cream like candid-b cream twice daily on it.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine for itching.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral fluconazole taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
