What Causes Black Discolouration On Penis Opening?

Hi I m very much worried about my penis tip colour. Earlier it was pure pink in colour and was not retractable. But gradually I made my penis retractable after having some daily workout. And now the tip of my penis changed colour to black. Now no difference in colour for the whole penis. The tip and the stem are same black coloured now. Please help me to get my penis tips natural pink colour back.

Hello,

It is an harmless skin condition called penile melanosis which causes small patches of darkened skin to appear on the shaft or head of your penis. It is not contagious and is harmless.

There are certain medications which can result in fairer skin but you have to consult your doctor first for the prescription.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sameen Bin Naeem, General & Family Physician
