What Causes Black Lines In The Line Of Vision?

I just went out for a walk to the store and out of nowhere i started seeing black squiggly lines out of my left eye at first i thought it was my glasses, so i removed them and have waited now for 1 hour, the lines are still there but not directly in front of my line of sight but slightly off to the left side of my left eye

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

The black line in front of eyes can be due to some disorder of the retina. I suggest you consult your ophthalmologist for clinical assessment to diagnose the problem. Treatment can be started after a definitive diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
