What Causes Black Patches In Jaws?

Hello, my husband has a black patches on his upper jaw.He has a habit of drinking coke and beer mostly,Moreover he had a throat infection during June 2013. which was cured eventually..I would also share some pictures if required. I am afraid if there's anything serious..please guide me in this regards.

Read your query as your husband has black patches in region of upper jaw dont be worried so this can be due to melanosis , allergy , or burn much I will suggest you to consult oral surgeon for examination of oral cavity and in meantime adivce him to do warm saline rinses and maintain proper oral hygiene .
