What Causes Black Spot On Inner Thigh?

I had a black spot on the top of my inner thigh and now I have 3 of them. When I had the 1 my OBGY didn t seem alarmed but not there are 3. They are not bumps and you can not feel them they are just black spots. What are they and should I be concerned?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Black spots on inner thigh which are not raised could be due to bruising caused by internal bleeding.
Is there any history of trauma to the thigh?
If there is history of trauma to the thigh, then trauma is the most probable cause of bruising.
If there is no history of trauma, certain investigations are required to find out the cause of bruising like platelet counts, bleeding time , clotting time, PT and aPTT.
However, before undertaking any of these investigations, a clinical assessment is required to examine the black spots.
Thus, consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment, relevant investigations and thus treatment.

Thanks and take care
