What Causes Black Spots After Extracting Wisdom Teeth?
i had my wisdom teeths removed on monday it is now friday i have no pains what so ever i have been brushing and avoiding the extraction sites rinsing with warm salt water as gently as possible. But now that i can open my mouth i noticed these black spots in the back of where those teeths were extracted should i be worried or no?
I have gone through your query and can understand your health concerns...
As per your complain it seems that there is nothing abnormal having the black spots as there is no pain and the black spots can be due to small food particles that got embeded over the healing tissue in the extraction socket.. In case if you can see some white stuff filled in the socket that is scar tissue that is necessary for progression of healing and there is also no pain you need not worry..
If you find the socket empty along with black spots then you have to consult your dentist and get evaluated for Dry Socket..
As of now from your question it seems only food stuffed in that area and not any pathology...
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora..
