What Causes Black Spots In Peripheral Vision, Dizziness And Headache After Weight Loss?
Hello, I m underweight. I m 16, 5 11 and 110lbs. I was 125lbs but have lost weight. As I have lost weight I have noticed I have frequent black spots in my vision, have had headaches (though not consistently, so it might not be related), dizziness and have begun to drink more water. What do you think is up?
This is Dr. S. Tomar from healthcaremagic.com's medical team and I ll be your medical adviser for this question.
First of all thank you for sharing your concern with us and showing trust on us. Surely you are underweight , in your age such manifestations are mainly due to nutritional deficiency , dehydration , anemia . As your body is growing in this age period , so you need to take a healthy diet which has proper amount of protein , fats and carbohydrate , should drink plenty of water , milk . Get your Complete blood count done and send me the report so that I can analyze it . You can also take a course of albendazole 400 mg one single dose after consulting with your PCP .
This is my initial response and discussion is open until you have any query or need further clarification.
I wish you good health .
sincerely,
Dr. Shardendu Tomar
