What Causes Black Spots In Vision And Poor Focus After A PRK?

I had PRK (Photo Refractive Kerantonomy) when I was in the military; however, my eyes were over corrected. I went from being farsighted to being nearsighted. I am presently having difficulty with seeing black spots on occasion that will make it difficult for me to focus my eyesight.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The presence of black spots in vision and poor focus indicate possible retinal edema postoperatively or else.

Get an expert evaluation with Retina specialist rather than consulting Ophthalmologist who may not be that competent to diagnose and cure.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
