What Causes Black Stool?

I have no pain but yesterday I passed blood very dark a lot hour later semi red. Hour later normal I went to my general doctor today an he is sending me to a urologist. ,,, in reading on line it all points to bladder cancer should I be worried doctor said it could be a passing pallop

If this is blood in urine then the cancer is not first thing to think of since there are some much more common benign causes such as urinary stones uroinfection or prostate hyperplasia. But in every case further evaluation is required and you should do urine analysis, cystoscopy and kidneys ultrasound for a start.
